I'm always one for a worthy cause, as long as the worthy cause is usually me, but for this one I made an exception.
The Race for Life, for those who don't know, is a national event organised annually, at different venues around the country, for women who want to run, jog or walk an organised route and raise money for Cancer Research at the same time.
As my wife, Julie, lost her mum to this terrible disease, she, and a couple of friends, Lisa and Erica, decided to do their bit.
In freezing cold, and soaking wet conditions, these brilliant ladies completed the 3 mile walk in just over 35 minutes.
Here is a few of their day.
Well done to all of the ladies that took part on the day, it was a fantastic atmosphere and you can all be proud of yourselves.
